Description
Aviationtag X Air North
After the Hawker Siddeley HS 748, the second aircraft in the Aviationtag X Air North Collection is now in the spotlight - the Boeing 737 C-GNAU, Aviationtag's first Boeing 737-200 ever.
The aircraft, with serial number (MSN) 21817, was first delivered to Piedmont Airlines in 1979 and named "Peninsula Pacemaker" with registration N772N. After moving to USAir in 1989 and later to US Airways in 1997, the Boeing came to Canada under Royal Airlines in 2001 and was given the registration C-GNAU. After serving with Canada 3000 in 2002, it found a home with Air North in the Yukon until its retirement in 2011. In 2023, it was carefully dismantled in Whitehorse and reborn as Aviationtag in 2024 to preserve its heritage for aviation enthusiasts around the world.
The 45-year-old aircraft shows signs of wear to the paintwork, as explained in the detailed information at the bottom of the page. Be amazed by the history and journey of the Boeing 737-200 C-GNAU as it takes its place in your collection.
Note: Each tag is unique. Depending on the aircraft, they differ in their feel, thickness of the material and color. Small bumps tell of the many years in the skies and express the character of days gone by. Small scratches, paint chips and bumps are completely normal and give the Aviationtag its special charm - that of a vintage product made from upcycled materials. These special features are not the result of the production process, but reflect the condition of the aircraft material used!
