Herpa Discover Airlines Airbus A330-300 - D-AIKK 1/500 Scale

Initially established in 2021 as Eurowings Discover, the Eurowings spin-off served long-haul tourist destinations in North America, the Caribbean and Africa with a fleet of Airbus A330s. In order to differentiate itself more clearly from Eurowings, which now concentrates on the low-cost segment, parent company Lufthansa separated the vacation airline division and repositioned it as Discover Airlines, including independent branding. In addition to three A330-200s, the fleet includes ten A330-300s with an extended fuselage and space for up to 302 passengers. One further aircraft will soon be transferred from Lufthansa to Discover to expand the long-haul network to popular vacation destinations.
