Description
This specially equipped Boeing 747-8 replaced an older jumbo jet of the 400 series in 2013. 9K-GAA, along with two Airbus A340-500s, is used by the Emir of Kuwait and his family, as well as high-ranking state officials. Kuwait is one of several countries that use the "Queen of the Skies" for their heads of state, as are Turkey, South Korea, Morocco, Qatar and Egypt. The model thus also joins a small series of aircraft models of government aircraft that Herpa is releasing on a scale of 1:500.
