Description
From the second half of the 1990s, Volga-Dnepr Airlines, which is usually known for the use of large cargo aircraft, also operated a small fleet of Yakovlev Yak-40 Trijets. They were used for a few years in domestic passenger traffic between St. Petersburg or Moscow and destinations along the Volga, such as Nizhny Novgorod and Ulyanovsk. This latest version of the distinctive Yak-40 on a scale of 1:200 can be depicted with the passenger stairs extended or closed at the rear.
